These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of services provided by Beverley Northwood Property Maintenance ("we", "us", or "our"). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services Provided
We offer a range of property maintenance services, which may include but are not limited to general repairs, painting and decorating, plumbing, electrical and gas work, garden maintenance, and cleaning. All services are provided as per agreement with the customer.

3. Quotes and Estimates
All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on the information provided at the time and may be subject to change if the scope of work changes and the market price changes.

4. Booking and Cancellation
A booking is confirmed once we have accepted the request and agreed on the date and time of the work. Cancellations for large works, refurbishments and external/internal maintenance works made less than 72 hours in advance may incur a cancellation fee.

5. Payments
Full payment must be received into the nominated bank account as stated in the contract prior to the commencement of works. Any works deemed necessary up to the value of £750 to £1000 will be deemed permissable by the Landlord. Any works over that value will require Landlord authorisation. We accept payments via bank transfer. Late payments may incur interest charges at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.

6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must ensure that access to the property is available and safe at the agreed time of the service.

7. Liability
We will perform services with reasonable care and skill. However, we are not liable for:

  • Any indirect or consequential loss or damage

  • Damage caused by pre-existing faults or conditions at the property

  • Delays outside of our control

8. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with the service, please contact us in the first instance by telephone within 14 days. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints amicably. Where a complaint cannot be handled with satisfaction, we would further request that the complaint be put in written within 7 days outlining the dissatisfaction. Where a complaint cannot be resolved after 7 days of receipt of the email, the complaint can then be escalated to the Office of the Complaints Commissioner.

9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated and deemed accepted by continued use of our services.

10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
